Timehop has made us nostalgic for things that basically JUST OCCURRED. But we can’t stop ourselves. In honor of that, here is a reblog of my post from exactly one year ago today.
While nothing global is immediately evident here and while this isn’t even a structure strictly unique to New York City, the very large world under the Triborough Bridge deserves attention. It is a rare quiet* spot in Astoria Park, even on a warm and sunny day and it’s arches (of infinity) are mesmerizing in both directions from this spot.
*More glass than grass may be one of the reasons but that’s what shoes are for.
