The beast
The Black Stallion had a far greater journey last summer than this quick trip to the Davit Gareji Monastery as it would go on to ultimately complete the Mongol Rally, but its integrity as a globe trekking vehicle was definitely tested that day as we basically off-roaded our way through the tumultuous Georgian terrain. It took it all – mud, rocks, accidental border control breaching, etc – in good stride and made the journey there and back in relatively one piece. The second part to our caravan, the fairly heavy duty SUV in the lead, also made it through pretty well but this little beast deserves even more credit for keeping up.
