The inside of the Teatro Massimo is even more stunning than the outside: it’s lit with Murano glass fixtures, decorated with golden stuccoes, furnished with mahogany, and even equipped with a symbolic (and functional) flower-shaped wheel (aka: ventilation system) in the roof.
As our tour guide said, “not bad.”
