Some more shots of Palermo’s cathedral, this time focusing on the statued main facade.

We wandered by the cathedral many times before actually visiting, having timed almost all of our touristy excursions poorly, arriving just as the doors were closing at whatever our attempted destination was that day. I think we subconsciously did this on purpose as we tend to prefer talking with locals (aka: drinking and eating) over sightseeing (and justifiably so, since one consistently makes us happy and, more often than not, tipsy and one just tends to make us want to punch All. Of. The. Things.)

The cathedral was worth the hordes of people, though, I must say.
